Troubleshooting
If you purchased TurboTax Online (DIY), you must activate the code to link it to your Intuit Online account. Please use this link to activate it for your account. This code can only be activated once in a single account. All returns must be filed from this account.

Depending on the version of the product purchased (e.g., Deluxe), as long as you haven't upgraded or added extra services such as Assist & Review, you won't have to pay anything. On the payment page, you will be asked if you wish to apply the declaration to the code.
If you bought TurboTax Desktop, you need to download the software onto your computer from this link:
https://turbotax.intuit.ca/tax/software/download
Install it, and, as you follow the steps, the application will ask you to activate your product. Here's a link explaining all the steps involved in installing the Desktop version
For the 2nd and 3rd installations, at the step asking for the account info, you have to enter the account information where the code was originally activated.
