Troubleshooting
@TaxUser3000 Each TurboTax license code allows for a total of three installations. Upon reviewing your account, I can confirm that two of these activations have already been utilized. While we are unable to reset these individual activation counts, our Phone Support team is available to help if you run into any trouble with your remaining installation. If you reach your limit due to a computer crash or hardware change, simply explain the situation to a representative, and they will be happy to assist you.

Troubleshooting
I tried activating my 3rd license on machine#3 and it said I already used up my 3 activations.
Activation#1 - Computer#1 installed and activated right away
Activation#2 - Computer#2 installed but did not activate properly which is why I started this thread months ago.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the software, as per the recommendation, and then did an activation and it worked.
After Activation#2 succeeding is when you confirmed that I still had 1 activation available.
I just tried installing and activating on Computer#3 but it says I have already activated 3 times.
Since I only have 2 successful activations what is the 3rd computer the system thinks I activated on ?
I suspect it used 2 activations on Computer#2.
Can you assist so I can get the activation for Computer#3 ?

Troubleshooting
My wife had the same issue when installing on "Computer #2", a Windows VM on her Macbook Pro.
Many thanks to TurboTax_Susan for the workaround that allows my wife to use TurboTax on our second machine.
We called Phone Support, and all they did was tell us we had used three of our activations, even though we have only used two.

Troubleshooting
This is a bug that should be fixed.
My wife is seriously considering switching to another tax package. We have used TurboTax/QuickTax for 28 years, and this buggy activation tracking makes it risky to rely on TurboTax for our annual taxes.
