Make sure that you are using the same version, "Deluxe," to prepare or file your return. If your return needs an upgrade or you have added any additional services, then you have to pay, as that is not covered under TurboTax Deluxe. 

The top banner on the 'Home Page' also shows you how many returns you have. I would recommend checking which version it is asking you to pay for. You can find that information at checkout or in the top right navigation bar, which will also display the version you're using.
