Is it for a student loan? Only the interest portion of a loan payment will appear on your income statement as an Interest Expense. We know there is a credit applicable on the interest you paid, but you should have or you will receive a document about this for your tax return. Please, contact CRA for more details about this and also confirm on which line you have to enter the information.
