Hello,

you would need to purchase the 2017/18 version of the software to carryforward you .GB6 file over to .GB7.

Sorry, that wasn't what i had asked.    I'm not carrying forward a 2016 to after Oct 2017.    
I'm carryforward a 2016 to a yearend prior to Oct 2017.   
TurboTax personnel had to manually allow me to proceed.    Thanks TurboTax.
