How is it not a CASL violation to use the "refer a friend" and get $10 Amazon gift card promotion? Isn't this against the rules?
It was always my understanding that you couldn't use "refer-a-friend" type emails anymore thanks to CASL legislation. Is anyone up to date on how this works now? Was that violation removed?

Hi there. The Invite-a-Friend program does not violate CASL legislation as your friend wanted to share the discount and the program benefits with you. Are you able to show me which email you're referring to?

I referred my friend, they filed via NETFILE, but my email updates still say I have earned 0 rewards. When will we receive notice regarding the gift card?
