I bought the standard edition online. it won't install on my mac

@ronceraychantal  If you are using a Mac, you must use the TurboTax Online version: http://turbotax.intuit.ca/personal-tax-software/online-tax-software.jsp You cannot use the CD/Download version on a Mac.

@ronceraychantal  If you purchased TurboTax Online, then you need to sign in with your User ID and Password here: https://ww1.2014.turbotaxonline.intuit.ca/ You will not be actually installing anything on your computer.

Ok i feel silly,  I was on the wrong track.  This makes more sense.  Why didn't the guy figure that out.  Thank you so much.!!!  i just needed to sign in.  FYI: i did receive a download link in my email receipt.  therefore I was directed the wrong way.  I also received and installation  key that i didn't need.  why didn't they just tell me to sign in?

Hey listen,

I did buy the online version and i still can't get it to open on my mac.  They suggested downloading firefox and it still didn't open. today i was going to call to get it sorted out and i can't get through.

I don't know what else i can try.

Do you get any error messages on the screen?

i didn't even get that far, the "downloaded " file won't even open. i didn't even get a chance to try the installation key number.  so it downloads but won't open is the problem.  FYI: i couldn't try today as now it says they are trouble shooting and it's down right now.  the link to download that is.

@ronceraychantal it sounds like you purchased the CD/Download version online (which has an installation key). If you have a Mac, you need to purchase the TurboTax Online version. http://turbotax.intuit.ca/personal-tax-software/online-tax-software.jsp

I have an e-mail link and when I click it to download, it does absolutely nothing....HELP
