If you separated or divorced in 2020, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) will still require your ex-partner’s information. The info is needed for a number of reasons, such as eligibility for certain credits or deductions, handling property you still own together, etc. 

When you don’t know your spouse’s income and can’t find out through reasonable means, the CRA recommends that you enter your best estimate.
