Since tax year 2020, there is a difference between a license code (for Desktop) and an activation code (for Online). If you have purchased the TurboTax Deluxe Online edition, follow the steps below:
To activate your TurboTax Online version, please visit this link. Select "I have an account," log into your account, and proceed to the second step by adding your 16-digit activation code to review and activate the TurboTax Online product.
