I receive some cash tips as a part of my work. How do I calculate my claim as It varies on how much income I receive from it?

CRA requires you to keep a log book of the tips  you receive. They want actual numbers and not estimates.

There is no set rate but CRA  has audited many restaurant's visa slips looking at tips and can assign a tip amount as 100% to 400% of one's income depending on the type of restaurant.
