If a Dental Assistant attends a dental conference out of town, can she deduct any of those fees from her personal tax return? She would be paying all the costs herself.

Hello,

Conferences are tax deductible for corporate businesses, self-employed individuals and partnerships if attendance is for a business purpose.  You can refer to the following article for assistance:

https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/tax/businesses/topics/sole-proprietorships-partners...

Hope this helps!
