If I am filing a previous year's taxes, do I provide my current work address or the work address of that year?

I am self-employed and lived at a different address in a previous tax year. Do I list my "work address" for the tax year or for the current year of filing?

When filing a past year's return, you will enter the work address that corresponds with your T4s or information slips. When it comes to entering your home address you can enter the address where you live today so your information will be up to date in your Canada Revenue Agency file.

If you have not updated your address information with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), kindly ensure to do so before filing your return so as to not affect your eligibility to Netfile. Please see the link below to update your address: https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/tax/individuals/topics/about-your-tax-return/change...
