If the employer puts commissions in box 14 can they then put the commissions in box 67?

would seem I will be way over taxed if the commissions are in both boxes.

The employer can put Salary, wages, commissions, or other remuneration including taxable benefits in Box 14. Box 67 of your T4 slip shows the part of your retiring allowance that is not eligible. So you cannot put commissions in Box 67.
