If your tax return was saved, it will be contained in a file with a .tt17 extension (if you are doing your 2017 tax return). If you can't find a .tt17 file, you might find a .ttbk file. The .ttbk file is a backup file and you can change the extension to .tt17 by renaming the file and open it.
If a person's name is John Doe, by default their file will be John_Doe.tt17, unless they saved it with a different file name.
