Because TurboTax Online follows a "pay-per-return" model upon completion, once you have submitted payment for a specific tier, the system does not allow for a downgrade to a lower-priced version. If you have not yet paid and realize a simpler version covers all your needs, you would need to clear your current data and start a new return in the appropriate edition to change the price.
