How do I show business income without a T4?

If you are self-employed and don't have a T4, the income should be recorded as self-employed income. Or the income should be reported as other employment income when the employment income is such as tips, gratuities, or occasional earnings

To record Self Employment, click "Income" then "Self Employment" and follow the prompts.

To record Other Employment Income, click "Income" then "Other Income Sources" then "Income not reported on a T slip". Then select "Received Tips, gratuities, occasional earnings or other employment income" and click "Continue". Enter the income as "Other Employment Income".

For more information about Other Employment Income, go to: Line 10400 – Other employment income - Canada.ca
