Your daughter should have received a T4A for this scholarship amount. It should be reported on her tax return. However, as a scholarship to support a full-time post-secondary course, it is not taxable.

Alexander Rutherford Scholarship is it taxable

My son has received Scholarships, bursaries and grants.

When I enter those amounts in line 105, the amount is taxed.

It should be tax free.

How do I correct this?

Your scholarship/bursary income will be either a) other income on line 130 or b) exempt from tax and not appear on your return at all after you've entered the T4A.

How the amounts are treated for tax purposes depends on your situation as a student. For example, if you were a FT student, you would enter the Box 105 amount in the spot for Full-time students on the T4A screen. This income would then be exempt from tax so you won't see it anywhere on the return itself.
