Received an email about 40% discount but it's not applied to my order

Turbo Tax Susan. Should I just pay the 20% off amount ($32) so my taxes are done -- and then I can be credited or refunded for the 40% off by TurboTax later?  Thanks.

@KellyLee979797 Yes, you can, and we will want to see a copy of the email you received, as some codes are different. You can send us a private message with a picture of the email received.

I've been trying to send a private message to this same end,  and the functionality does not appear to be available both in mobile and computer version on this platform. The platform is not great,  and would appreciate being contacted to get reimbursement for the discount that was offered.  Should not have to go out of my way to get what turbo tax offered, and which the company should be going out of its way to rectify. I have the email to show whomever but it needs to be not through this platform.
