I used assisted last year because it was necessary. Redownload the app and try filing this year. Well I don’t need assisted this year and there is no other option. It’s not advertising. The only option to continue is assisted. It’s predatory.
The mobile application is connected to your Online TurboTax account. If you import your data from the previous tax year and you had Assist & Review, the system is importing the same product. If you don't want your return review by an expert, you will have to start a new return without importing data from the previous year.
