Why is there an unfamiliar amount showing for other income when I have already entered all income amounts in other boxes?

Line 130 - Other income is used to report taxable income that has not been or should not be reported anywhere else on the return. There are a lot of things that might fall into “Other Income” and you would have to figure out where it is coming from to fix it.

For example,  scholarships/bursaries, retiring allowances, lump-sum payments, death benefits, and payments from a Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP). Box 66 or 67 from your T4 slip would also be considered as Other Income.
