If you have received a T4 attached to a RL-1 they should match. There are some cases where you will see some difference. You must complete the T4 then once you go to your RL-1 You will see which amounts got transferred over.
If you received a T4 and a RL-1 which aren't attached then they are separate and must be entered as so. Especially if you had 2 separate employers.
