If I am renting, can I add my Hydro bills to my tax return?

You cannot typically claim your hydro bills on your tax return if you are a renter. Generally, only homeowners can claim certain expenses related to their home on their tax return, such as mortgage interest, property taxes, and home maintenance expenses.
