Can I claim my rent on the taxes when I lived and worked in Ontario the whole 2017, but i'm not a permanent resident?
The Trillium Energy and Property Tax (Rent included) Credit is calculated based on your circumstances in 2017 but paid based on your province of residence after June 2018. If you leave Ontario for any month after June 2018 you are no longer entitled to receive the Trillium payment.
