CRA autofilled my T5008's but when I enter book value it reduces my capital gains by half - my paper summary proves this is wrong. what do i do?
Enter the book value in the T5008 entry page. This should accurately calculate your capital gains [Book Value - Proceeds of Disposition]. Don't forget to enter Outlays and Expenses if you have them. Only 50% of your capital gains are taxed.
