Foreign retirement income

I receive pension income from the government of a country that has tax treaty with Canada. I use easystep. Where do I enter the income and the deduction so I do not pay taxes in Canada? Thank you. AndreasProusis.

Foreign retirement income

See my answer below.. On the Foreign slip enter the taxable portion in the box "pension income". Enter the remainder exempt portion in the box "Other pension income: Exempt portion"

Enter taxes paid to the other country too for the foreign tax credit.
