I would not have needed this fence had it not been for my daycare. Or what is the best way to write this off?

Yes, this is regarded as Capital Cost.

If the fence is solely for business, enter the total as CCA class 6.  

If this is partly personal too, You should reduce the cost by the personal portion. ie based on the same % as your business use of a home.
