Hi I am a Canada resident/citizen. Last year a won an award through an art organization in the US. They clawed back $750us. I would like to claim it back. How?

You can't claim tax without reporting the income earned. Once you report you foreign award $ under "Foreign slips" - "other foreign income" then apply the $750 as "Foreign tax paid".
