How do I remove non-capital losses from my return?

I keep getting prompted to upgrade to the self employed return. I do not need this. How do I get past this step/check?

How do I remove non-capital losses from my return?

You can follow these steps to remove the non-capital losses:

  1. Open your TurboTax account and navigate to the section called "Deductions & Credits."
  2. Select "Losses Profile" and then click on "Non-Capital Losses Carry Forwards".
  3. Edit any added amount and add "0" in those boxes where you report any amount of non-capital losses that were incurred for each year that have been carried forward and have not been applied against other income or gains.
  4. Now click "continue" and uncheck all the boxes. Then, press "Continue" to move on to the next section of your tax return.

Note: Clearing a checkbox does NOT remove any info you've already entered for an item or category. To remove the associated info, you need go to the section and field where you've entered the info and delete it there.

Thnak you for choosing TurboTax.
