I am self employed and in a 50% partnership. I had rental income of $12,000 total in 2024. Do I enter 12,000 or 6,000 on the T776 page.
When I inpu the number for my expenses against my self employment income, do I input the total for the year or do I pre-calculate an amount based on my business use?
I started working on a contract basis from Aug 2024 - essentially becoming self-employed. Can I defer tax on Aug-Dec income by selecting a fiscal year end date in 2025?
