I'm just doing my 2023. I got part way into Turbo Tax and received the news they want an extra $20 from spouses in order to claim rental property. How do I get discount?

The extra charge will be for upgrading to TurboTax Self-employed and not because of a spouse.  Rental Property can now be considered as self-employment and therefore the information required will be in the self-employed software with proper calculations.

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

Yes, I understand. I ran out of the word limit to explain. When I started using TurboTax the charge was $19.99 per return. Last year it was raised to $39.99 each as I had to use Premium. This year with the same tax situation it is now $65 each. What I wanted to request as a long time customer is a discount as paying 325% more seems like a big jump.
