I moved from MB to ON in Nov 2016 but have 8 months of rent in MB that I can claim but it isn't prompting me to input that info since my current address in ON.

As your province of residence as of Dec 31, 2016 was Ontario, you are filing as an Ontario resident. You are unable to claim rent paid in Manitoba on your Ontario provincial tax form.
