I put the amount 60000000 (60m) on the Foreign Employment Income field, but it is invalid because too many characters entered. I applied the exchange rate of 0.001.

Hi,

I have a problem to use TurboTax software. I put the amount 60000000 (60 million) on the Foreign Employment Income field, but it said the information is invalid because too many characters entered. The applied exchange rate is 0.001 to Canadian dollars. How can I put the right amount on it?

When I put 6 million instead of the original amount and an exchange rate of 0.01, and there was no error message. Can I do this way?

Thanks,

It should be ok, but check the amount that gas been entered as foreign income into your return.

Another approach would be to covert the sum into CAD offline, enter that number and show a currency rate of 1.0000
