If i am a canadian student in the u.s. in 2017 can i use the cost of an i-190 sevis fee or rent as a deduction on my return and what line or form would i enter this on?

You cannot claim these amounts in Canadian tax return. Rent deduction can be claimed on the provincial form and the property must be within the province to be eligible.
