My husband and I split up last year and sold our house. He was listed as the owner. Do I have to report the portion of equity I received when the house sold?

You can refer the  below Canada Revenue Website page for the  detailed separation process because this all depends how you have done the separation settlement.  It is based on how you have splits your common assets with taxable and non taxable portions with your ex-partner.
