Credit for taxes withheld in USA is not showing in the computation made by turbo tax. Please help.

I have employment income in USA in W-2. Federal tax, state tax, medicare tax and SS tax has been withheld. How do I get credit for these foreign taxes paid?

Hello, thank you for your question. Foreign employment income and corresponding taxes would need to be summarized on your return. Please be mindful of the foreign exchange rate when making the respective entries.

Based on these entries a federal foreign tax credit (form T2209) and provincial foreign tax credit (form T2036) can be calculated.
