Tax return of a retired couple & splitting income. Sold primary residence of 50 yrs. One returns went through but the second one won't. How can I fix this?
For capital gains from sale of rental property, does this start from time it became rental property or when bought (if lived in it first)?
"Enter the amount(s) paid for rent, property tax, home energy costs for a principal residence on a reserve, and/or accommodation" does a co-op student res count for this?
I live in an apartment with my parents that pay for the rent, do I count for this "Rent or property tax for your principal residence in Ontario was paid by or for you"?
