Reporting foreign income after no longer a Canadian resident

I am a USA citizen.  I was a Canadian Resident until April 30, 2016, working for a Canadian company.  I was relocated back to the USA in May, and then worked for a US company.  Do I need to report thee W-2 for the period I was no longer working for the Canadian company and was no longer a Canadian resident?

Reporting foreign income after no longer a Canadian resident

Unlike the USA, taxation in Canada is generally based on residency so if you ceased to be a resident of Canada on April 30, 2016, you would no longer be liable for tax in Canada for any income earned after that time (once you were now a non-resident of Canada).
