We split our capital loss for the 2016 tax return. Who let's us know how much of that capital loss was used and if there is any more available to carry forward in 2017?

We split our capital loss for the 2016 tax return. Who let's us know how much of that capital loss was used and if there is any more available to carry forward in 2017?

Under the "Deductions" tab > "Losses" and Net Capital Loss Carry Back will show the amount available to go back 3 years or forward indefinitely. Your Notice of Assessment from CRA after filing or your MyAccount with CRA will also record this information for you.
