As a Canadian filing a tax return, you want to know how to report your US income, this means that you will not be double taxed, so there is a certain way that income source is entered into TurboTax.

  • Entries of income subject to a tax treaty can be found under the Income tab - Tslips - Foreign Slip

  • Then you can drop down to Other Income sources (also under the Income tab) and fill out the T1135 which is the Foreign Income Verification Statement.
