There are not enough lines to enter all my capital gains on Schedule 3?

You may have more capital gains to report than there is space provided on the S3 tax form. If that is the case, you will need to include any additional capital gain amounts on the S3-Supplementary Statement form, which you can find via the instructions below.

Note: This is only available using the Forms method on CD/Download versions of TurboTax.

  1. Go to the Forms view by clicking on the corresponding icon in the upper toolbar.
  2. From the View menu, select Find Form. The form lookup dialogue box opens.
  3. Under Keyword to Search for, type in S3.
  4. Select the S3-Supp form.
  5. Click OK. The Schedule 3 Supplemental Statement opens.
  6. Enter the remainder of your capital gains.
