I had two jobs last year but quit my first one and got all the money I saved for my 401k. Do I get something in the mail for that to apply towards my taxes?

I quit my first job shortly (two months in) when I got my second job last year, and I’m unsure how to go through with my taxes or if my old job is still relevant to any capacity. I got all my money from my initial 401k refunded to me last year but am I supposed include that into my taxes? If so am I supposed to get a form for it in the mail or should I just not include it in there

Yes, if you got a distribution from your 401(k) in 2023 then you should get a 2023 Form 1099-R, please check with the plan administrator.

Please follow these steps to enter Form 1099-R:

  1. Click on "Search" on the top right and type “1099-R”
  2. Click on “Jump to 1099-R”
