Can I claim computer and equipment costs for University education?

I'm a journalism student and have been required to purchase  a camera and equipment can I claim this cost and the cost of my computer needed for the program?

If i am able to claim these items, where on the form do I enter them?

No.  You are allowed the Education and Textbook Amounts based on your enrollment as a part-time or full-time student to help compensate for some of the expenses you incur as a student.  The purchase of specific equipment or supplies cannot be claimed.
