How do you not claim tuition fees after you have filled out the deductions section on your tax return? I do not want to claim my tuition for this 2024 return.

Hi @benji_k
Good morning. To not claim tuitions in return :
Remove the Tuition Amount: If you've already entered your tuition fees in the "Tuition, education, and textbook amounts" section, simply delete or clear the amount from that section.

Do not upload T2202 Form: If you’ve received a T2202 (Tuition Fees Receipt), avoid entering the amounts from that form in the tuition section.

Check the Deductions: Ensure that the total deductions in your tax return don’t include the tuition fees, and double-check your figures.

Hope this helps.
