how do I enter my prescription receipt in?
You can use December 31, 2015 if you wish...CRA only sees the amount that appears on the Schedule 1. You still want to have your receipts and documentation in case CRA asks to see it.
Also, do you pay for private medical insurance? If so, you can claim the premiums paid as part of your medical expense. Be sure to NOT include any premiums for long term disability insurance or life insurance, as these are not eligible.

Most Pharmacies will print a total submitted form with the date showing as January 1 to December 31. When entering your sub total you can also use the from date to finish date. If you have one subtotal just enter the total using a date from the first prescription and the ending date being the last prescription you had filled
@ Everett.g Have you tried entering 01/01/2015
