I clicked yes on wanting to claim the bc sales tax credit, but it says "$0.00" later on under the"provincial tax deductions" section

Hi there.

 

There are two reasons why the amount showing for your B.C. Sales Tax credit is "$0.00". First, you may not meet the eligibility requirements for the credit. Secondly, it could be reduced to zero by your net income - the credit amount is reduced by 2% of your net income greater than $15,000. This means that, while you may qualify for the credit, your income is higher than the threshold to receive an amount for the credit.
