First, I wish to thank you for your giving. The first thing you can do is to keep a separate spreadsheet which would be helpful if the Canada Revenue Agency requests supporting documents. You can combine some of your receipts, in your entries, under "Various" instead of individual names. The most important is that you keep matching receipts in your records and their sum total matches what you have declared and reported to the CRA.
