I received $2000 in entrance scholarships for my full-time university program, which 105 box should I report the amount in? Thanks a lot.

Please notice each box 105 has specifications beside it. If you have a T2202 please enter your scholarship in the first box showing you are a full-time student and also have a T2202.

Please make sure you fill your T2202 amount and then report it with the correct amount of months, for more information please visit How to claim the T2202 Tax Form.

TurboTax automatically calculates your exemption (the amount you won't be taxed on), from the information you enter in box 105. The remaining (taxable), the amount is then included in the Other Income section on your tax return.
