CPP contributions shows up as an overpayment and therefore full tax credit as opposed to a contribution for which a % is a tax credit - want to make sure the contribution is recognized and the taxes are not understated - how do I correct this?
Check your T4 slip to see what is entered for CPP pensionable Earnings. Make sure it matches the amount in Box 14, or is reasonably close. Also check to make sure you didn't select that you are CPP exempt on the T4 slip.
You can also check your birthdate. Is it showing you as at least 18 years old?
Post back with details if you still need help.
