Shouldn't my CPP and EI contributions be added together in "CPP and EI", in my "Deductions Summary", instead of just my CPP contribution being posted?
Your CPP contributions are a credit at Line 310 and your EI contributions are a credit at Line 312 on the Detailed Tax Summary.
You can find a detailed summary of your tax return under the "Review" tab > "Bottom Line (tax summaries)"> then look for the paper and magnifying icon in the lower left hand corner, select "Detailed Tax Summary". You will have a line by line sample of the Federal Tax Return. Provincial summary can be found under the "Provincial" tab.
