Tuition credits: Can I claim the cost of Actuary exams, courses, course materials/manuals? They are registered with the Society of Actuaries
If the program is a Qualifying Education course and provided by a qualifying institution, most likely certified by the minister of employment in the case of the actuary society, then examination fees, certain ancillary fees and tuition can be claimed. You should receive a tax deductible certificate from the association for this purpose.
